2015 TOMODACHI Toshiba Science & Technology Leadership Academy Selects Students and Teachers for STEM Exchange Program

SHARE

Congratulations to the eight high school students and four science teachers (names listed below) who were selected to attend the TOMODACHI Toshiba Science & Technology Leadership Academy, an expense paid week-long cross-cultural STEM exchange program. In August, the winning students and teachers will join a team of Japanese counterparts in Tokyo to design a disaster-resilient, smart community of the future. With counsel from Toshiba engineers and a visit to the Toshiba Smart Community building, the students and teachers will work together to develop proposed solutions to problems using learning experiences that are central to the NGSS and the engineering design process.
